Joe Mattei is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from New Orleans. Since 2010 he has released 5 full length albums and an EP. His music blends folk, blues and soul elements into a unique sound that is often compared to the music of Ray Charles and James Taylor. He has toured internationally to support his releases and released a live album in 2017. In 2019 he received acclaim for his single “Steady Rain” which earned him a spot on Rolling Stone’s 25 “Songs You Should Be Listening To” list. He has recently collaborated with Dave Matthews Band member, Rashawn Ross, and the two have released 2 singles together. Joe Mattei continues to tour and is currently working on new music.
