NO ZU are an Australian post-punk band, originating from Melbourne. The band consists of five members: Nicola, Theo, Dan, Toby, and Lauren. They have been recording together since 2004, incorporating funk and disco elements into their post-punk sound. Their live shows have been acclaimed for their intense energy, incorporating genres such as Balearic disco and West African funk. They have been immensely influential in the expansion of the Melbourne music scene, collaborating with other local artists and curating events to promote no-holds-barred dance music. Recently they have walked the boards of Europe and America, taking their distinct brand of post-punk disco to international audiences.
