Salary Boy is an R&B and hip hop artist from Detroit, Michigan. His debut single "Snapchat Freestyle" reached the top 50 on the iTunes hot tracks and earned him a small but loyal fan-base. With a style merging 90's R&B with contemporary rap, Salary Boy has been able to create a unique, modern-day sound. In 2019, he released his long-awaited debut studio album "The Yellow Tape EP". It quickly climbed the iTunes Hip Hop charts and gained mainly positive reviews from both fans and critics, including Pitchfork and The Fader. Since then, Salary Boy has featured on multiple high profile music projects with some of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B. He's currently working on his second album and is set to embark on a 2020 world tour later this year.
