About The Goon Sax
The Goon Sax is an Australian indie pop band from Brisbane that formed in 2013. They consist of Louis Forster, Riley Jones, and James Harrison. The band released their debut EP, Up to Anything, in 2016 to critical acclaim. Since then, the band has released two more EPs and two studio albums titled We’re Not Talking and Mirror II. The Goon Sax's music is known for its quirky but earnest lyrics, catchy hooks, and jangly guitars. Their sound has been praised for their ability to make emotional music without sounding too ‘emo’. The band is currently touring around the world playing their unique brand of indie pop.
