While there\u2019s no foolproof way to keep scammers out of your comment threads, auto-moderating comments does the work for you while you\u2019re at your busiest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How it works:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Download the CSV file<\/strong> below<\/strong> <\/li>
  2. Login to your Facebook Page and click Settings<\/strong> at the top<\/li>
  3. Select Privacy<\/strong> > Public Posts > Content Moderation<\/strong><\/li>
  4. Check out the CSV and add any extra words you see being used by your scammers (separated with a comma, and include plural and singular forms)<\/li>
  5. Upload the CSV file<\/li>
  6. Click Save Changes<\/strong>, any future comments will now be automatically moderated! <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s important to note that these changes will only come into effect for new comments, so be sure to turn this on before publishing a new event.<\/p>\n\n\n

    As the organiser, you can still use the very common (and essential!) words like \u201ctickets\u201d in your own posts without getting caught up in this filter, as it only applies to comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This means you\u2019ll have real engagement on your posts, without having to worry about scammers and unsafe ticket trading slipping through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
