Sugar Sammy is an Indian-Canadian comedian, actor, writer, and musical artist. His comedy covers a range of topics such as race relations, social issues, culture, and politics. Since beginning his career in 2009, Sugar Sammy has become well-known for his bilingual performances in both English and French. He has released two albums and six one-hour international comedy specials, and has performed sold-out shows in over 30 countries. Sammy has won a number of awards including Best Male Comic at the Canadian Comedy Awards, the King Of Comedy Festival in South Korea, and the Comedy Short of the Year at the Gotham Awards. He has also had several successful international tours, and has appeared on various TV shows and festivals.
