Ticketmaster is one of the worlds largest ticketing companies — you can see Ticketmaster events everywhere from Boston to Brisbane, from ice hockey matches to jazz concerts.
All Ticketmaster tickets sold on Tixel are safely re-issued, meaning that buyers get brand new tickets directly in their Ticketmaster accounts. This is a great experience for both sellers who get paid right away and the buyers who get as much peace of mind as from primary ticketing channels.
If you chose a mobile ticket, Ticketmaster allows the downloading of any mobile ticket as a Print-at-Home (regular PDF) ticket. See an example below.
If your ticket is a “mobile-only ticket” — a Ticketmaster term meaning your ticket exists only digitally, you can still list and sell your Ticketmaster ticket on Tixel. Just click on the Ticketmaster logo and follow the instructions on our Upload page:
The easiest way to sell your Ticketmaster ticket on Tixel is to upload the Print-at-home PDF file. Download it on Ticketmaster website, go to “My Account”, then “View All Orders” and click on the order containing the ticket you would like to sell. You should see something like this:
Now just click “View Tickets”. Some browsers (eg. Chrome) might open the PDF file instead of downloading it. In this case, find this toolbar and click on the middle “download” icon.
That’s it, you’ve got the file!
It’s important to note that Tixel doesn’t accept PDF files that were changed in any way — you cannot use a text or graphic editor to, let’s say, cut out some of the pages. You can skip some of the pages/tickets (if your PDF file has multiple pages/tickets) later on on Tixel. Once you have your PDF file ready, click “Sell tickets” in the top menu, you will be presented with a file upload dialogue:
You can simply drag your PDF file over to the grey box, or you can click on it and choose the file the “old fashion” way. A few seconds later, you will be redirected to a ticket and price selection prompt:
Choose tickets that you are planning to sell by clicking the red toggle on the ticket stub. You will see details of every ticket — eg. date, price, address, barcode, page number and buyer name to help you understand what is what. After you chose tickets to sell, use a price slider to adjust your selling price. There is no minimum price but the maximum price is capped at 20% over the face value, meaning if you bought your ticket for 100 dollars, you can only sell it for 120 dollars or less.
Because Tixel is a platform for fans selling tickets to other fans, not for scalpers or scammers to make a profit!
What follows is pretty straight forward — we will ask you for your personal details such as full name and address, and bank account details where we should transfer your money. If you are already a Tixel user, you won’t need to enter all this data again, of course. That’s it — after the final confirmation, your ticket listing goes live! We had occasions where tickets got sold a couple of minutes after they got listed, how cool is that?
After you sell a Ticketmaster ticket on Tixel, you will have to forward it to the buyer by going to your Ticketmaster account and clicking on “Forward”. This way, buyer will safely receive the ticket in his or her account and you will be paid much faster (same or next day). You will receive full instructions on how to do this in your sale confirmation email.
Since all buyers receive brand new tickets directly in their Ticketmaster accounts, these transactions are 100% protected. The same as buying original tickets from the primary ticketing website. This is why Tixel is the safest place to buy and sell Ticketmaster tickets.
