Fatima Al Qadiri is a Kuwaiti singer, producer, and composer based in New York City. Her singular and diverse sonic palette of experimental club music, composed with vintage synthesisers, dancehall and classic sounds melds into a powerful and versatile output that has reignited discussions around contemporary electronic music in the 21st century. Al Qadiri's solo career began officially in 2011 with the release of her “Desert Strike EP” on Sussex UK label, Fade to Mind. She has since released 3 full-length albums including “Asiatisch” on Hyperdub and “Brute” on Warp Records. Al Qadiri has collaboratively worked on projects with the likes of Arca, Hudson Mohawke, Producers from the Sour Sop Crew, and has composed many original soundtracks, scores, and audio art. She continues to remain one of electronic music's most unique and iconic innovators.
