Fobia is a Mexican rock and roll band formed in Mexico City in 1987. The band consists of Leonardo de Lozanne, Jay de la Cueva, Paco Huidobro, and Rafael Monsdeoca. Fobia gained fame quickly after releasing their album, Mundo Feliz in 1990. The album featured the hit single, “Las Flores”, which was an instant success in Mexico. Since then, Fobia has created twelve studio albums featuring genres, ranging from pop rock, punk rock, post punk, and alternative rock. The band has also incorporated other influences such as surf, reggae, metal, ska, and disco. Over the years, Fobia continues to be celebrated as one of the most influential bands in Latin American rock. They have performed at several world-famous festivals and concerts in countries such as Spain, Argentina, Chile, the United States, and Canada.
