Fritz Kalkbrenner is a German deep house and techno music artist based in Berlin. He's best known for his 2013 single "Sky and Sand" with his brother Paul Kalkbrenner. Kalkbrenner began his musical career as a songwriter before establishing his solo career in 2009 with his debut album Here Today Gone Tomorrow. His second album Sick Travellin' was released in 2011, and he reached international success with his third album Ways Over Water in 2015. His music has been featured in films such as Greys Anatomy, Sing Street, and About a Boy. He also produces music under the pseudonym "The Clones". Fritz Kalkbrenner continues to release music to great acclaim and perform around the world.
