Nobody loves the good old days of hip-hop like Injury Reserve. The nostalgia of the Arizona hip-hop group brings their sound close to the likes of A Tribe Called Quest while keeping things current and fresh. It's an exciting sound mixture that gets any hip-hop romantic hot on their heels.
The group came into the spotlight in 2015, self-releasing their first mixtape "Live from the Dentist Office" everywhere from Itunes to Spotify or Tidal.
They keep things real both in their sound as well as in their lyrical message. Like in the good old days, they discuss daily struggles, racial issues, and criticizing the very thing they base their success on, the music industry. Still, the group is independent, and released their self-titled album in 2019 and followed it up with a worldwide headlining tour.
