Joakim is an electronic music producer based in Paris, France. He is widely known for his experimental take on synth-pop, combining elements of IDM, house, and indie rock in his music. Joakim's career in music began with releasing a series of EPs in 2005, which brought him to the attention of electronic music labels, such as Tigersushi and Ed Banger. His debut album, "Fantomes" was released in 2006 and marked the beginning of a long career on the cutting-edge of electronic music. He has since released six full-length albums, constantly experimenting with different sounds and techniques. Joakim has also remixed a number of major artists, such as Royksopp, Air, and The Rapture.
