Juliana Huxtable is an American artist, musician, DJ and model. She gained recognition for her activism work via social platforms. She gained attention for her self-portrait work and transgressive performances in NYC's nightlife scene. Huxtable has released material for various labels such as Hyperdub, Huntergather Records and Absurd. Her work has been displayed at PS1, MOMA, and MoMA PS1’s 2017 Greater New York exhibition. Huxtable is a recipient of the ACRIA HIV/AIDS arts award and was named one of Out Magazine’s Out100 People of the Year.
