Kollektiv Ost are a German electronic music duo from Hamburg. The duo consists of Kim Frank and Stefan Maurer and are known for their distinct melodic, minimalistic production. They made their debut in 2010 with their album Walk By Them And See and since have established themselves as one of the most crucial contributors to the minimal techno and microhouse scene, releasing on various Labels such as Renate Schallplatten, Wir Sind Raum, Channell Records and many more. After a series of successful EPs in 2018 the duo released their second full-length album, Humanize, which showcased a different side to their production. They also continue to perform at some of the world's most prestigious festivals, including Berlin's Atonal and Time Warp.
