Larry Heard is an American electronic, dance and house music pioneer who had a career spanning four decades and is widely regarded as one of the most influential producers in the history of the genre. He is most well known for his pioneering alias Mr. Fingers, which was set up in 1985 and captures the soulful influence of the early Chicago House Music sound. He released several influential EP's and albums in the '80s and '90s, including the classic 'Mystery of Love' album which contained the single 'Can You Feel It', a seminal track that was a cornerstone of the era. Heard has continued to shape the dance music sound through the 2000s, performing in various countries with his live show, working on projects for Steve 'Silk' Hurley's record label, travelling on world tours and delivering regular releases. His music continues to inspire DJs and producers around the world to this day.
