MC5 tickets

MC5 was a punk rock band hailing from Detroit, Michigan, active from 1964 to 1972. Often cited as one of the most influential groups in the movement, MC5 combined elements of psychedelic rock, hard rock and proto-punk, along with their enthusiasm for revolution and politics, to create a sound that was confrontational, energetic, and revolutionary. Their best-known songs include “Kick Out the Jams,” “Looking at You,” and “Teenage Lust.” The band achieved a moderate level of success, though could not secure a record deal for their 1970s album, “Back In The USA,” and their later records lacked the energy of their earlier work. Although the group never broke through to mainstream success, they remain highly influential in punk and rock circles.
