Modeselektor is a Berlin-based German electronic music duo composed of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. Since emerging in the early 2000s, Modeselektor has been at the forefront of the “Berlin sound” of glitchy, bass-heavy beats that draw heavily on German electronica. They have released nine studio albums, six mix compilations and numerous EPs, singles and remixes on a variety of record labels. They are also well-known for their live shows, which often feature handmade visuals and props in addition to their signature beats.
