Moon Duo tickets

Moon Duo is an American electronic rock duo made up of members Erik "Ripley" Johnson and Sanae Yamada. Originating in San Francisco in 2009, the duo blend elements of drone, psychedelia, and krautrock into their music, creating an immersive soundscape of dreamy, spectral guitars and driving beats. Johnson and Yamada released their debut album Escape in 2011, followed by 2012's Circles and 2013's Mazes. Their most recent album, Stars Are the Light, was released in 2019 and marked a significant shift towards dream-pop aesthetics. In addition to their own material, they have also collaborated with acts such as Wooden Shjips, R.E.M., and John Cale. Moon Duo have toured extensively and remain a popular live act due to their unique sound.
