About Morgan Heritage
Morgan Heritage is an American reggae band, formed by the five grandsons of legendary reggae musician Robert "Grizzly" Marley. The band’s sound is a mix of roots reggae, dancehall, ska, and American hip-hop. The members of the band are Peetah Morgan, Una Morgan, Memmalatel "Mr. Mojo" Morgan, Lukes Morgan, and Gramps Morgan.
Morgan Heritage has produced numerous albums since their formation in 1994, most notably Strictly Roots (2015), Here Come the Kings (1997), Don’t Haffi Dread (2010), More Teachings (2006), and Mission in Progress (2004).
Morgan Heritage has earned numerous awards recognizing their work, such as Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards in 2017 for Strictly Roots and the Best African Reggae, Ragga or Dancehall Album at the Kora Award in 2007
