Rider Shafique is a UK-based grime, dub and reggae artist, DJ and producer. He is the founder of the Interdimensional Transmissions collective of forward-thinking UK bass music producers. His style draws heavily from UK Soundsystem Culture and draws influence from dub, grime, reggae, drum and bass and bass music. He has released music with several UK underground labels, including Defrostatica, Subaltern Records and Lutetia Dubz. He has toured across Europe, performing at some of the continent's biggest festivals. He has collaborated with many of the scene’s leading underground producers and collaborators, as well as iconic UK artists like Pinch, Killa P, Skream and David Rodigan. Each and every one of Shafique’s sets is carefully constructed and impeccably executed with none of the compromises one is likely to experience from most mainstream clubs.
