About Robert Babicz
Robert Babicz is an electronic music producer and live performer, widely regarded as one of the key pioneers in melodic techno. He is best known for his hybrid live performances that seamlessly blend the analog and digital worlds.
Since his emergence in the early 2000s, Robert has released numerous groundbreaking albums and singles under various labels, such as Systematic Recordings, Kompakt and Bedrock Records. His tracks have been widely featured in radio mixes, compilations and various DJ sets around the world.
Robert has also conducted numerous collaborative production jobs for other artists like Marc Romboy and DJ Yellow. His works are characterized by an emotive, melodic and psychedelic touch, often driven by textures of warm analogue synthesisers, minimalistic percussions and sweeping pads.
