About Sean Raya
Sean Raya is a singer-songwriter and producer from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has been on the music scene since 2011, releasing three studio albums and a handful of singles throughout his career. His biggest hit to date is 2019's "Parachute".
Raya's music has been described as a mix of alternative rock and pop. He has toured extensively in Canada, the US and Europe, including an opening spot on the Honda Civic Tour. Raya has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, working with everyone from producers to jazz musicians.
In 2021, Raya released his latest album, The Calm After the Storm, which has been critically acclaimed. The album features sweeping orchestral backing, intricate guitars and Raya's voice- which has an impressive range and emotional vulnerability.
