From the deep and cutting-edge electronic music scene of Paris, France, comes St. Germain, a genre-defying artist who has been leading the house music scene since his breakthrough release of the single, "Alabama Blues". He is best known for his 2015 album, 'St Germain,' which encapsulated the sound of French music and the electronic club scene. Created in collaboration with jazz and funk musicians, his signature style draws from everything from traditional African rhythms to electro-acoustic ambient. His live performances also incorporate turntables, samplers and keyboards. St Germain has also produced several successful remixes for a variety of acts throughout his career, including Primal Scream, Air, and Gorillaz. His 2013 tour saw him embark on a world tour in support of his fourth studio album, 'Tourist'. His most recent work is an album titled 'Luminous', released in 2019, creating new connections between jazz, African music, and electronica.
