About The Dear Hunter
The Dear Hunter is an American rock band from Providence, Rhode Island formed in 2005 by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Casey Crescenzo. He began writing the concept album series Act I, II, and III, which is a rock opera which follows a character from birth to death.
The Dear Hunter's success began in 2006 when their debut album, Act I: The Lake South, the River North, and gained attention within the indie music scene.
Since then, the band has released 6 studio and 3 live albums. They have also released extended plays, and have released a total of about 50 singles. The band has toured extensively and collaborated with other artists in a variety of genres.
The Dear Hunter currently operates on a self-sufficient label with their own in-house studio, studio and team.
The band's most recent release, 2015's Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise, peaked at
