About The Field
The Field is a stage name of Axel Willner, a Swedish electronic music artist. Since his debut album "From Here We Go Sublime" in 2007, Axel has gone on to create a half-dozen records that showcase his signature sound of emotive, loop-driven and layered music. His most recent album "Infinite Moment" was released in 2019. Willner has collaborated with many high-profile artists such as Michael Mayer and M83 in order to create melodic and ambient tracks that often include some live instrumentation. His discography also includes selected remixes, singles and compilations that were released over the years. His music has been featured in a variety of movies, books, and video games ranging from the Japanese drama "Like Someone in Love" to Grand Theft Auto V. The Field has played live sets across the globe, displaying his unique blend of field recordings, modular synthesis, and more.
