Wave Racer, also known by his real name Tom Purcell, is an Australian Electronic music producer, DJ and songwriter. With influences ranging from hip-hop and RnB to 80s arcade aesthetics, he has crafted a unique and playful brand of electronic music. Wave Racer first gained recognition in 2013 for his original track “Streamers”, which quickly became one of the most popular and influential bass-heavy future-bass songs of the year, receiving hundreds of millions of streams across multiple streaming platforms. Since then, Wave Racer has released multiple original EPs and collaborated with a wide range of artists like Mobb Deep, Allday and Baauer. He has also travelled the world performing live at festivals such as SXSW, Splendour In The Grass, Listen Out and more.
