Yeison Jiménez is a Colombian musician and singer-songwriter. He is best known as one of the pioneers of the "tropipop" fusion of traditional Latin American pop music and modern digital fusion. Jiménez has released several albums and singles, the most successful being his 2014 single 'Vive' which charted in the top 40 in Latin America. He has been nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards and won an MTV Europe Music Award in 2014. Yeison Jiménez has worked with various musicians such as Juanes, Carlos Vives and Wisin, and has toured across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. His latest album 'Proteína' was released in 2018. Jiménez continues to promote his distinct Latin-pop sound and has become a staple artist on many major Latin music festivals.
