Current Value, born Tim Eliot on February 11th, 1981, is a German music producer and DJ. He got his start in electronic music in the mid-90s, experimenting with drum and bass producing before shifting toward the darker sounds of hardcore and techno. Over the years he has gone from producing music under multiple monikers to honing in on his Current Value project, for which he is best known. He is an active and prolific artist having released music on respected labels such as Invisible, Moving Shadow, Renegade Hardware, BAD TASTE, Subsistenz and Symmetry, as well as his own imprint Subsistenz. He has also worked with notable artists such as Tommy Four Seven, Evol Intent, Spl and Counterstrike, further demonstrating the range of his talent and his influence in the techno and drum and bass circuits.
