Eleni Mandell is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who has been making music for over two decades. Her sound blends folk, jazz and rock, and her lyrics often focus on love, longing and mortality. Early in her career, she made the move to Los Angeles, where she began releasing independent albums. She was eventually signed to an independent label and released her first major label album in 2002. She has gone on to consistently produce and release albums ever since. Her body of work includes twelve solo albums, three albums in a duo with Richard Swift and a few soundtrack contributions. She has also collaborated with many other musicians and appeared in several documentaries about folk music. Eleni is a celebrated and respected artist in the folk music community.
