About Georgia Fair
Georgia Fair is an Australian indie folk duo from the Sunshine Coast. Composed of Jordan Wilson and Ben Riley, they are known for their pared-back yet heartfelt sound, often described as muted and melodic.
Georgia Fair's debut album Trapped Flame topped the iTunes chart in 2011 and earned them support slots with Bob Evans and Missy Higgins. Their sophomore effort Don't Wait Another Day, which followed in 2012, marked a move towards pop-tinged folk-rock and garnered a whole new fanbase.
Their most recent album Rising Above was released in 2016, and the singles 'Don't Waste Your Time' and 'Can't Believe' were added to several commercial radio playlists. Since then, Georgia Fair has been touring extensively in Australia, UK and Europe, both as a full band and as a duo.
They have earned numerous award nominations, including 6 Music Album of the Year from BBC for Trapped Flame, a J Award nomination from Triple J
