Lanks is the musical project of Australian singer-songwriter Will Cuming. He has been creating music since 2011, and released his debut album 'twentyseven' in 2013. Since then, Lanks has gone on to release over 20 more singles, EPs, albums and mixtapes, constantly evolving his sound and exploring different musical genres. His most recent album, 'Seventy-Seven', released in 2020, saw him experimenting with wildly different songwriting techniques. He has gained recognition from audiences around the world, and been featured in publications such as Pitchfork, NME and triple j. Lanks has also won a National Live Music Award for Best Collaborative Artist 2017. Drawing on inspiration from all ends of the musical spectrum, his crafty brand of indie folk/pop continues to have an international reach.
