Moerbeck is a German-based artist, who has been making music since 2007. His tracks are characterized by a mixture of hard industrial textures with melodic synth, making a sound that veers between moody and ecstatic. He is well known for his heavy use of electronic production techniques and his performances capture a variety of styles, from techno to electro, minimal and experimental. His works have been released on labels such as Boysnoize, Retro Promenade, Herrensauna and Geheimsache. He also operates a label called FAUXpas Musik, which has released the works of many other electronic producers. Moerbeck is highly regarded within the electronic music scene, having performed at parties and festivals across Europe and the US.
