Patton Oswalt is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and voice actor. He rose to prominence for his role as Spencer Olchin in the sitcom The King of Queens (1998-2007). He is best known for his stand-up specials like Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping (2016), for which he won the Grammy for Best Comedy Album. Oswalt has also acted in films like Ratatouille (2007), Young Adult (2011), and 22 Jump Street (2014). His comedy often covers topics ranging from politics, pop culture, and social issues. Oswalt has authored two books; Zombie Spaceship Wasteland (2011) and Silver Screen Fiend (2015). He was also the executive producer, writer and narrator for the comedy series, The Weakest Link (2001-2002).
