Porter Ricks tickets

Porter Ricks is an electronic music duo consisting of Thomas Köner and Andy Mellwig. The duo were pioneers in the field of ambient techno and are largely credited with helping to establish the Berlin techno scene in the mid-1990s. They are perhaps best known for their albums 'Biokinetics' (1996) and 'Port Gentil' (2004), which feature deep bass, echoing drums, and simmering drones. They also released two EPs, 'Anguilla Electrica' (1995) and 'Port of Nuba' (1997), both of which explored themes of minimalism and ambient sounds. Porter Ricks have produced remixes for other artists, such as Mouse on Mars, Pole, and Mika Vainio, and have collaborated with a number of different producers. They continue to produce music today, and have also set up their own label, Chain Reaction.
