About Ron Basejam
Ron Basejam is an influential DJ and producer from London. He first appeared on the scene in the early nineties, producing a variety of tracks in a range of genres including, soul, balaeric, disco, jazz and funk. He is well known for his releases on labels such as Classic Records, Gomma, Reverberation Appreciation Society and Freestyle Records.
Ron Basejam is most influential through his re-edits of classic soul and disco tracks. His reworks are highly sought after, and have become a staple in many up-and-coming DJs' crates. His success as a re-mixer has led to him remixing some of music's biggest names, such as De La Soul, Amy Winehouse and Björk.
Ron Basejam has also proven to be a successful producer in his own right. He was part of the duo Johnwaynes, who released two albums and numerous singles in the early 2000s
