The Distractions tickets

The Distractions are a punk rock band from Manchester, England, that have been active since 1976. Originally formed by singer Mike Finnegan and bassist Tony Friel, The Distractions are known for their raw, intense and often humorous take on punk rock music. They released four studio albums in the late 1970s and 1980s, and toured extensively in the UK and Europe. During the late 1980s, they developed a larger following and released several singles in the United Kingdom. Following a break in the early 1990s, the band reformed in 2005 and released a new album and live DVD in 2007. They continue to tour and play select shows, keeping the original energy and intensity of their music alive.
