Since then, The Fat Rubber Band has become a popular live act, performing regularly throughout the United States and Europe. Their sophomore album, Higher Funktion, followed in 2004, and their third, Funkomatic Revolution, dropped four years after that. The group's fourth record, Tougher Love, was released in 2012, and the release of their fifth album Keep It Low in 2016 saw the band cementing its reputation for infectious funk grooves and timeless vocal performances.
