Arcangelo tickets

Arcangelo is an Italian classical music ensemble, formed in 2006 by conductor and artistic director Jonathan Cohen. The ensemble’s repertoire spans more than three and a half centuries, from the music of the 17th century to the present day, with a particular focus on lesser-known and rarely performed works. The ensemble has performed extensively in Europe, including at the Salzburg Festival, the Edinburgh International Festival, and the BBC Proms. Arcangelo has also released five studio albums on the Hyperion label.

The ensemble has recorded works by composers such as Handel, Monteverdi, Purcell, Vivaldi, and Bach. In addition, it has premiered works by contemporary composers and created its own adaptations of operas and oratorios. Arcangelo prominently features Baroque instruments in its performances, including harpsichords, recorders, and violas da gamba.
