About ATEQ
ATEQ is an English electronic music artist based in East London, England. He creates music drawing on the styles of techno, house and garage, and has released records on labels like Hypercolour, Get Physiocal and Watergate Records.
ATEQ's live performances are immersive and energetic, with an abilitity to distill elements of both classic house, UK garage and more modern, tech-driven sounds. Originally a DJ, he took on a more production-based angle and his productions are continuously praised internationally.
His music can be found in clubs across the globe and he has already appeared at esteemed festivals such as Sonar-Off, ADE, Printworks and more. In 2013, he was nominated at the UK Festival Awards for Best Breakthrough Act and in 2016 he won the Best New Music UK Award.
In 2019 he released his 'Centerline' EP on Watergate Records, along with the follow up track ‘Toa’ featuring Berlin
