Blanck Mass is an experimental electronica musician, based in London. The project was started in 2011 by Benjamin John Power, who has had a long career in the world of richly textured and avant-garde music. Their signature sound blends noise, post-punk, shoegaze, and other new age elements. Blanck Mass has since put out five full-length studio albums, starting with their 2011 self-titled debut, and most recently releasing the 2020 album Animated Violence Mild. Over the years, various EPs, singles, collaborations, and soundtracks have been released under the Blanck Mass name. The project has received critical acclaim for their eccentric and creative sound.
