Cassegrain, also known as the alias of Berlin's Chris Dougan, is a musical artist, record producer, and DJ. His career started in 2012, when he released Echology, his debut album. Since then, he's gone on to release several EPs, remixes, and singles on a variety of labels, including Prologue Music, Tresor Records, and Bunker Records. His releases have become synonymous with the darker side of techno, earning Cassegrain the reputation for being an innovative and credible producer. In addition to making music, Cassegrain is a popular live act, performing at various international clubs and festivals. Most recently, he released his third LP titled 5th World on Prologue Music.
