Christopher Kono is an up-and-coming alternative folk singer-songwriter. Hailing from Tokyo, Japan, his music is heavily influenced by his Asian heritage along with his study and appreciation of American folk and country. He performs typically acoustic shows, as he sings and plays the guitar, while incorporating elements of blues, jazz, and jazz-funk. Christopher released his first album, "Dreamer", in 2017, a twelve song collection of folk songs about life and love. His unique blend of Eastern and Western music styles, combined with thoughtful lyrics, has endeared him to audiences all over the world. He recently performed at festivals across Europe and the United States, and is certainly an artist to watch in the coming years.
