Jan Oberlaender tickets

Jan Oberlaender is a contemporary German jazz singer, composer and producer. Born in Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany, he has been active in the music industry since the 1990s. Oberlaender is known for his unique mix of swing jazz, torch songs and Latin influences. He has recorded multiple studio albums, including 1999's Melancholy Dream, 2004's Unendlich, 2018's Seelenfluege and 2021's Moana, which topped jazz charts in Germany. Oberlaender has toured extensively, performing at festivals across Europe, and his music has featured in multiple film and theatre soundtracks. He was commissioned to compose a modern interpretation of the classic opera Carmen for the City of Munich Opera in 2006.
