Lanark Artefax is an experimental electronic music artist from Scotland. His music combines elements of ambient, dance, techno and noise, creating a unique and captivating sound. His style is largely constructed of field recordings and synthesis, with an emphasis on creating dense and heavily textured soundscapes, often clocking in around 10 minutes or more in a single track. He released his debut album 'Whities 011' in 2017 to critical acclaim, and his 2018 EP 'Corra Linn' gained him further attention and established him as a leading figure in Scottish electronic music. He has since released two full length albums, 'Corot-7' and 'Glacial Possessions', and is currently signed to the Glasgow based label Whities.
