About Map.ache
Map.ache is a Munich-born electronic music producer, DJ and label owner. His real name is Marek Schöberl and he produces mostly deep and melodic techno, as well as danceable house and electro. His unique sound brings a fusion of classic synthetic sounds, acoustic instruments like strings, guitars, and vocals, and even classic disco and funk.
Map.ache has released dozens of singles over the past decade. His latest EP Sounds of Twilight released on 2020 on Manchester-based label Neovinyl, features heavy-weight collaborators like Amberoom and Sohail Azad. The EP showcases his ever-evolving techniques and reveals his passion for dubby house and technoid grooves.
Map.ache also runs a record label called KANN, which he founded in 2018. Map.ache is known for giving undiscovered talent a platform, by signing and promoting emerging artist. His label has featured work by established and underground figures such as Dav
