About Simple Plan
Simple Plan is a Candian punk-rock band with an infusion of pop sonics to their sound. Founded in 1999, Quebec, the banded started carving their sound in the music industry way before they released their 2002 album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls". They've joined the renowned us alternative tour Van Warped Tour, performing between 1999 and 2005. Their easy to jam to sound also landed them a performance at the 2010 Olympic Games.
Their energetic emo-punk sound was their calling card, and they kept the same sound trajectory throughout the 2000s. As the band matured, they began ditching out the emo pop-punk look and focusing on a more pop-punk attitude; however, their newer recordings could not match the success the group had in the early days of their career.
