About The/Das
The/Das is the project of two German producers, Fabian Fenk and Philipp Reinartz. With music that operates within an experimental framework that combines traditional instrumentation, synth-driven minimalism, and warm techno influences, The/Das' has crafted a sound unique to them.
Since their formation in 2011, The/Das has released two acclaimed albums on the Life And Death label, 2014's Freezer and 2018's Exit Strategies. They've also released music on other labels including Kompakt, Monaberry, and Stil Vor Talent.
In their live shows, The/Das band together classical instruments with their electronic music, delivering energetic performances with a visual edge. They've brought their eclectic sound around the world, performing at various venues and festivals from Electric Forest in the USA to Fusion Festival in Germany.
The/Das have also done collaborative remixes for acts like The XX and The Knife, while their
