Upercent, real name Umar Ansari, is a Portuguese DJ and producer who has been making waves on the international music scene. Originally signed to the B-Side label, Upercent has been collaborating since 2009 with some of the biggest names in electronica. He's known for his combination of minimal, melodic techno with deeply funky rhythms that bring the energy to the dance floor. His latest EP 'Morphology' has been gaining critical and commercial success which has pushed Upercent into the limelight. His live sets are a melding of melodic house, techno and house into a unique and powerful sound that has been attracting the attention of the wider music community.
