Drew McDowall is a Scottish experimental electronic musician and founding member of industrial music group Coil. He has been active in the underground music world since the late 1970s and has collaborated with many other important musicians, including John Balance, Psychic TV, and Throbbing Gristle. His solo records, such as 1995's Unnatural Channel, explored a unique blend of ambient and classical sources to create experimental sound collages. His music is often dark, hypnotic, and highly psychedelic, making his music a great companion for natural or spiritual inner journeys. His most recent releases include October 2015's Collapse, a dark ambient electronic album produced by label Dais Records, and 2018's Unnatural Channel Redux, a re-imagined version of his 1995 album. Drew McDowall continues to be an innovative and influential musician creating new works on a regular basis.
