Walk Off the Earth are a Canadian folk/pop rock band from Burlington, Ontario, originally formed in 2006. Founded by Gianni Luminati, the five-piece have released five studio albums and won the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2013. The band gained significant online notoriety in 2012 after their cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" went viral, racking up over 80 million YouTube views. The video featured all five members of the band playing one guitar and catapulted the song into the charts all over the world. The band continue to perform and create inventive covers and original music, performing everywhere from 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to huge festivals across the world.
